The San Francisco Department of Public Health has released an updated map indicating parcels in the city where PM 2.5 levels are modeled at 9 micrograms per cubic meter or higher. These levels result from roadway traffic, permitted stationary sources, and maritime sources.

The department encourages public engagement by inviting comments on the update. Residents can submit their feedback via email to Jennifer.Callewaert@sfdph.org until November 25, 2024.
