The Department of Elections in the City and County of San Francisco has released its 10th preliminary election results report, shedding light on the ongoing ballot counting process for the March 5, 2024, Consolidated Presidential Primary Election.
According to the Department, today's report includes the counting of 300 vote-by-mail ballots and nearly 950 provisional ballots since the last update. The total number of ballots yet to be processed and counted stands at approximately 5,700, encompassing 500 vote-by-mail ballots and 5,200 provisional ballots.
Director John Arntz emphasized the importance of transparency in the process, stating that the ballot processing will continue until 5 p.m. today and will take place on weekdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The public is welcome to observe the processing either in-person at Room 48 in City Hall or via livestream on sfelections.org/observe.
When questioned about the progress and results, Director John Arntz will be available to address inquiries from both the public and the media outside Room 48 in City Hall.
As the Department of Elections in San Francisco works diligently to complete the ballot counting process, updates and results are eagerly awaited by both candidates and voters alike.
