Graduates earn 374 degrees from the California Institute of Integral Studies

About 48.1 percent of the 374 degrees and certificates handed out by the California Institute of Integral Studies in 2017-18 were to students in psychology programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private not-for-profit institution in Francisco conferred 158 master's degrees and 22 doctor's degrees in psychology programs.

But the single most popular program was for a master's degree in counseling psychology. Data shows the school gave out 133 master's degrees in counseling psychology, followed by 51 bachelor's degrees in "other" multi-/interdisciplinary studies and 48 doctor's degrees in acupuncture and oriental medicine.

The institute enrolled 1,452 students for 2017-18, including 61 in undergraduate programs and 1,391 in graduate programs.
