City College of San Francisco enrolls 27,008 undergrads

At City College of San Francisco, 59 percent of undergraduate students are nontraditional students - age 25 or older - and 53 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The two-year public institution in San Francisco enrolled 27,008 students in fall 2018, all in undergraduate programs, data shows. 8.8 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

94 percent of undergraduates are residents of California, and 1 percent are residents of other states. 5 percent are citizens of foreign countries.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as Asian (35 percent) and Hispanic or Latino (26 percent).
