On Wednesday, April 23, former Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory High School standout Nick Katz’s current college team, the Lawrence Vikings, lost 6-4 in their NCAA Division III baseball game against the Carthage Firebirds.

The game took place at Augie Schmidt Field. This was their first matchup against the Firebirds this season.

The Vikings’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, April 26 at 12 p.m. at Joe Brooks Baseball Field against Illinois Blue Boys.
