Ace Hardware recently revealed the color preferences of San Francisco-area shoppers for Q1 2022 in a press release
According to the press release, customers preferred canvas-like whites such as Chantilly Lace OC-65 and Simply White OC-117.
“Benjamin Moore, the color authority, has 3,500 inspiring, brilliant colors to choose from and quality paint brands to suit your purposes,” Ace's resident paint expert, Annie Hunter stated.
Customers also favored the darker colors such as Newburyport Blue HC-155 and Iron Mountain 2134-30.
The results were extracted from the Regional Paint Preference Survey (ARPPS) conducted by Ace Hardware, which follows customer preferences and rates the most popular colors.
Benjamin Moore has 3,500 colors to choose from, and they're offered at 78 different stores in the San Francisco metro.
The company, which is headquartered in Oak Brook, Illinois, is currently the world's largest retailer-owned hardware cooperative, with more than 5,600 independently owned shops throughout 70 countries.
Ace has won the JD Power Award 15 times over the last 16 years, earning the highest rank among five measured categories.
Categories included staff and service, in-store experience, online experience, merchandise, and price. ace scored 869 on a 1000-point scale for overall satisfaction.
