Graduates earn 909 degrees, certificates from Golden Gate University-San Francisco

About 73.6 percent of the 909 degrees and certificates handed out by Golden Gate University-San Francisco in 2017-18 were to students in business, management, marketing, and related support services programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private not-for-profit institution in Francisco conferred 537 master's degrees and 119 bachelor's degrees in business, management, marketing, and related support services programs.

But the single most popular program was for a master's degree in taxation. Data shows the school gave out 187 master's degrees in taxation, followed by 118 bachelor's degrees in general business administration and management and 102 master's degrees in accounting.

The university enrolled 2,515 students for 2017-18, including 415 in undergraduate programs and 2,100 in graduate programs.
