Salesforce was recognized on Mar. 18 as one of the World’s Most Ethical Companies by Ethisphere, marking the seventeenth time the company has received this honor.

The recognition highlights Salesforce’s ongoing commitment to ethical business practices and trust, which the company identifies as its top value since its founding in 1999. As artificial intelligence becomes more integrated into business operations, trust and ethics are increasingly important for companies across industries.

Ethisphere’s 2026 list includes 138 organizations from 17 countries and covers 40 industries. The selection process evaluates companies based on their ethics and compliance programs, governance, culture, environmental and social impact, and efforts to support a strong value chain. Only a select group of companies with outstanding ethics programs make the annual list.

Erica Salmon Byrne, Chief Strategy Officer & Executive Chair at Ethisphere, said: “Congratulations to Salesforce for achieving recognition as one of the World’s Most Ethical Companies. As we mark the 20th class of honorees, this group continues to raise the bar for business integrity by embedding ethics into everyday decision-making and long-term strategy. Companies with strong ethics, compliance, and governance programs are built for better long-term performance.”

Sabastian Niles, President & Chief Legal Officer at Salesforce, said: “At Salesforce, trust is not just a value but our fundamental operating system for the Agentic Enterprise. Trust can be a growth lever and a competitive advantage, and we should all be stewards of trust and of an ethical culture. As we lead the global shift toward agentic AI, our commitment to sound business practices remains the bedrock that allows our customers to innovate with confidence.”

The continued inclusion of Salesforce on Ethisphere’s list underscores its role in promoting ethical standards as technology evolves.
