On Saturday, Nov. 22, the Chapman Panthers, featuring former St. Ignatius College Preparatory standout James Casey, defeated the Whitworth Pirates 18-16 in the NCAA Division III Football Championship.
The matchup was held at Whitworth Pine Bowl at noon and marked the first tournament meeting between the Chapman Panthers and the Whitworth Pirates.
Chapman’s next game is scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 29, at 10 a.m. at Smith Stadium.
