Jerry Mixon, a former standout at Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory High School and current player for the Oregon Ducks, will participate in the NCAA Division I FBS Football Championship.
Oregon enters the tournament as the No. 5 seed and will face the No. 12 seed James Madison Dukes.
The initial matchup will take place on Saturday, Dec. 20, at 7:30 p.m.
