On Saturday, Nov. 15, the Virginia Union Panthers, featuring former Archbishop Riordan High School standout Michael Estrada, were defeated 45-21 by the Johnson C. Smith Golden Bulls in the NCAA Division II Football Championship.

The matchup, held at Durham County Memorial Stadium at 3 p.m., marked the first tournament encounter between the Virginia Union Panthers and the Johnson C. Smith Golden Bulls.

Virginia Union Panthers are scheduled to play their next game on Saturday, Nov. 22, at 1 p.m. at Hovey Field.
