On Saturday, Nov. 15, the Chapman Panthers, featuring former St. Ignatius College Preparatory standout James Casey, defeated the California Lutheran Kingsmen 27-17 in the NCAA Division III Football Championship.
The contest was held at Ernie Chapman Stadium at 1 p.m., marking the first tournament meeting between the Chapman Panthers and the California Lutheran Kingsmen.
Chapman’s next game is scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 22, at 12 p.m. at Whitworth Pine Bowl.
