On Saturday, Nov. 22, the Chapman Panthers, featuring former St. Ignatius College Preparatory standout Jackson Muzzy, defeated the Whitworth Pirates 18-16 in the NCAA Division III Football Championship.

The match was held at Whitworth Pine Bowl at noon and marked the first tournament meeting between the Chapman Panthers and Whitworth Pirates.

The Chapman Panthers are scheduled to play their next game on Saturday, Nov. 29, at 10 a.m. at Smith Stadium.
