On Saturday, March 14, Cal Poly Pomona Broncos, with former Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory High School star Madison Eade on the roster, edged the Western Washington Vikings 57-54 in the NCAA Division II Basketball Tournament.

The tournament game, the first against Western Washington, began at 5 p.m. at Nicholson Arena.

Cal Poly Pomona is scheduled to compete again at Nicholson Arena on Monday, March 16 at 7 p.m.
