Cal Poly Pomona Broncos, featuring former Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory star Madison Eade, secured a 56-54 victory over the Azusa Pacific Cougars in the NCAA Division II Basketball Tournament on Friday, March 13.
The first-round contest began at 12 p.m. at Nicholson Arena and marked the team’s first tournament face-off against Azusa Pacific.
The Broncos are set to compete again at 5 p.m. on Saturday, March 14, at Nicholson Arena.
