Beau Gardner, a former standout at St. Ignatius College Preparatory and current player for the Georgia Bulldogs, will participate in the NCAA Division I FBS Football Championship.

The Georgia Bulldogs enter the tournament as the number three seed and will face the ninth-seeded Alabama Crimson Tide.

The initial matchup is set for 3 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 6.
